Join our Pieces of Me Exhibition
Join our Pieces of Me Exhibition
As part of the Big Draw, National Campaign for Drawing, Artspace has been inviting all our members, regular users, pupils in the schools with which we work, local artists and indeed any body who is interested, to create artworks on postcards and send them back to us to become part of a living exhibition, to be added to during our open week 27th – 30th October.
The exhibition will be on display at the New Mercury until 14th November and all postcards will be for sale for £1. (Though you may choose to give more as a contribution to the continuation of community arts in the Forest!)
Some great work is dropping through our door daily – it’s not too late to join in and be part of a truly community exhibition along side people of all ages and abilities.
You can use any medium: drawing, painting, collage, photography, digital art, to depict something that means something to you : your big toe, your house, your pet, a favourite place, your favourite movie star ……as long as it is on a post card.
Artspace Cinderford will be running FREE activities to celebrate our re-launch week: from 27th to 30th of October. Why not join us?
Send to: Rachel Shilston, The New Mercury, 3 Woodside Street, Cinderford GL14 2UG
