The Circus and Performance Project, Engage, is run by Artspace Cinderford. You can learn; static trapeze, juggling, diabolo and other manipulation skills; acrobalance and performance skills. We meet during the evenings several times a week at The New Mercury and work regularly towards performances and displays.

Engage youth circus has been running since 2000 and many past students have gone on to further their education and skills in circus arts. Over the years eight students have applied to and gained a place at Circomedia circus school aged 16+.

We perform displays at events and festivals as well as full length shows. Engage can also provide tutors to run a workshop for your event or school.

You can choose to train as assistants for circus skills workshops.

Static Trapeze

We have our own free standing static trapeze rig to bring to festivals and events.
We can run static trapeze workshops for your group.

Youth Circus success

Three youth circus members from Engage have successfully gained places at Circomedia circus school this year; two students for the BTEC course and one for the new foundation degree course.

One ex-student finished his course at Circomedia and has now been successful in getting a place on the acrobatics course at Balthazar school in Montpelier, France.
