SATURDAY SERIES
The Artspace ‘Saturday Series’ is a programme of weekend workshops for adults running here at Artspace. Each workshop is designed to provide a bespoke, one-off, arts experience that you can enjoy, at your leisure, on a weekend. Whether you would like to paint something to hang on your wall at home, or make a beautiful crafty gift for a friend or family member, these half-day or full day workshops aim to help you to create something unique!

*Concessionary rates are available for those with a disability or who are on means tested benefits.
In order for the Saturday workshops to run we need a minimum of 6 people booked on. If there isn’t enough people enrolled we will cancel the workshop 7 days before the intended start, let you know and issue a refund.
If you can’t attend a booked workshop for any reason, let us know giving us 48 hours notice or more, and we will issue a refund.

Mixed – Media Painting, with Bela Kielt

Join us for a relaxed painting class where we’ll explore the art of painting trees using mixed media, playing with texture, depth, and dimension to bring each piece to life.
This session is perfect for both new painters and those with experience who want to loosen up, experiment, and develop their own individual style.
You’ll be encouraged to try different materials, layer creatively, and discover fresh ways to express yourself while enjoying a supportive, inspiring atmosphere.
Silk Painting, with Cherry Lyne
Saturday 27th June
10:30am – 4:30pm

In this relaxed day of the basics of silk painting, you will design, outline and paint a silk handkerchief.
Perfect for complete beginners or those who have tried this art before, the morning session will begin with creating your design and using gutta to outline it on to your silk.
After lunch it will be time to add the luscious and vibrant colours for which silk paints are known.
