Welcome to Artspace Cinderford.

Covid-19: Cinderford Artspace temporary closure

  18 March 2020

In light of the Government’s latest advice for people to avoid non-essential contact, and advice from the Artspace Board of Trustees, we have taken the decision to close Artspace to the public as of Tuesday 17 March. The health and safety of our participants, staff, artists and volunteers is of utmost importance, and we believe that in the current national landscape it is not viable to remain open to the public at this time. We will not run any further classes or activities for the remainder of this term or over the Easter holiday period.

Artspace Cinderford are an arts and education based charity based in the Forest of Dean. Established in 1988, the organisation specialises in offering fully inclusive, accessible creative opportunities for people of any age or ability.

Artspace are based at the New Mercury arts centre, Cinderford and offer a wide range of courses and one off workshops for adults and children, including painting and drawing, animation, drama, singing and circus skills.

In addition to the in-house programme, the organisation works extensively on an out-reach basis, at festivals, events and in schools, carehomes and village venues.
